Teenytiny Little Meetup. Carmina and I tried to post from her Blackberry this afternoon, but it did na' work. The exact text was:

Swilling Wine in Athens. We're sweating, and drinking wine, and gossiping about YOU! We kiss you!

I'm very jealous also!!! Sounds like fun!

The meet-up, I mean. Not being jealous. Being jealous is often no fun at all. Except for perhaps this time, when "I'm very jealous!" is really actually shorthand for, "How fun! I'm glad you're enjoying yourselves so much!" So it's kind of like vicarious fun, which is fun.

heee! I just woke up. Or maybe woked up. Wine and laughs and hot, omg so hot weather, I came back home to collapse entirely.

It was fantastic. I am telling you, you all have to meet the taz. She is so sweet and funny and OMG, I love you taz!

OMG I love Athens, even if it is the craziest driving of any European capital I've been to!
Sigh!
Just the thought of sunset on Lykabettos hill looking over to the sea, the Acropolis at my feet.

My son is going to spend some time with family in Athens soon(they'll leave almost immediately for the coast though) and maybe I'll just miss him so much I'll go visit!

wilder, I think that if you don't want people to think you are a horrible, horrible mother, you must to come to the Athens right away. Or... wait until it's not 100F in the shade, and then come to Athens right away. Even if he's already returned. It's your duty as a MOM.
