Boring Excel question. [More:]

I should know this, but I don't.

How can I take the info from one worksheet, put it onto another, and have it update on both if I only change it in one?

Thanks.
Try a formula of the form "=NameofSheetToCopy!A1" ...

You can do a paste link. Edit-->Paste Special-->Paste Link.

But then you have to be careful to only change the primary page. I usually have one main data page that I'm free to edit and multiple pages referring to it that I run calculations on.

Or do you want to be able to update it in either place? That's a bit more tricky and probably requires the use of VB macros.

No, I can update it on the main page.

I tried the Paste Special (which basically did the same thing as Skwirl's formula, just a little more automatically) and after some picky little things to clean up, it did what I wanted it to do.

Thanks, guys!
