essexjan just called me! Her flight went great!→[More:] There were only 40 people on the whole plane, and she was able to lay down and sleep the whole way. So she's up to partying tonight! Woo woo woo!

Ah yes, I'd been tracking her flight and saw that it left Heathrow early. I was hoping that it was because of some good reason like not many passengers. Yay!

awesome. the only civilised way to do a transatlantic flight, imo, is on a plane at less than 50% capacity.

sadly, it rarely works out that way - cos if it did the airlines would go bankrupt.

Try flying over the PACIFIC on a FULL plane. Yeah, about like you'd think. Thank God Thai Air at least has good food and lots of it. Often.
