02 June 2007

I actually did my hair today. [More:] For the first time in about three weeks - I actually used the blow dryer, hairspray and some other styling goo.

Today was the first day in a few weeks where I didn't have any yard-related work to do + I had free time.

I will be capping off the hairdo-ing by going to the grocery. I live on the edge.
I washed mine tonight and it's back to it's usual curly self. I look like me again.

So are you fluffy today, or not?

I love/hate doing my hair. I hate taking the time and bother (when I could be sleeping instead) but I love how it looks when I flat-iron it. I can't stop feeling it when it's smooth and soft. I feel so sexy when I have shiny swingy hair and I feel frumpy when it's a frizzy mess. Some people can rock the frizz; I am not one of them.

iconomy, I'm the same way; when my hair is freshly cut and all soft and silky, I can't stop stroking it.

Monday is haircut day! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee of happiness!

Awesome FBK. I haven't done my hair today. I haven't done my hair but I feel like hot stuff. Maybe because I've been rockin the frizz.

I also like to repeat myself.

I think I'm GOING to do my hair today. Me -- for the first time in maybe two weeks. I work in home health currently, and I just get all sweaty and gross and it's not worth doin' my hair for. Not to mention my hair dryer's been @ Kyleg's and I've finally got it back now.

OK, I'm going to wash my hair and scrub the master shower at the same time. Brain cells will be killed by Tilex fumes. The sacrifices I make! :)

Ok, back way back I was married to a sexy Italian who had hair-days on Fridays. If he didn't shave, he'd look like Paul king, but he didn't have the heavy on top. So, on Fridays when we dated I'd get decked out and wait for him, for ages.... and tonight when I got to do my hair (which resulted in a dark mahogony mess - *scream*), I thought of my Friday man who at least knew what the heck he was doing.... ;P

that reminds me- it's time to redye mine.

I got trashy new shoes today- I have no idea what to wear with them, and when I do, I'll be breaking that rule that you have to be 23 to wear leopard print and still look sexy, but for some reason they called to me. Also, they're comfy and were cheap (in all meanings of the word).

New shoes! I may have to follow fbk's edge-living example and wear them to the grocery store.

I love them small_ruminant! Very sexay!

hehe for my next act I will take up pole dancing. At the grocery store. After which I will probably need a back brace and bail.

Ha! I've wondered before if I could suspend myself from one of those poles and slither down. I'm guessing no. I'm not that fit, or graceful. Have fun in your new shoes.

I'd end up in a wheelchair if I tried wearing shoes like those, fbk. And that'd be after just walking, not pole dancing. They are lovely, but I'm designed for comfort and need flatties, despite my lack of height.

I need a little bit of a heel, actually, although 3/4" will do it, (and it's built into my orthotics on my regular shoes). These aren't as tall as they look because they have a little bit of a platform built in, which is why I can wear them.

If I end up with ankle injuries because of them, I will be sure to post.

btw, I wish I had a least a LITTLE fluff in my hair. It sticks straight to my head no matter what I do to it.

I have been seeing more and more truly gorgeous curly hair these days, just around town, these types but (imo) better styled.
