Something odd on the front page @ 1:45AM PDT →[More:] Are you in the middle of changing images? Because the picture of Mrs. Pants' Buttons isn't a picture of Mrs. Pants' Buttons anymore. Here is a section of a screenshot showing what I'm seeing...

Aha! I see the new "Links in new window" check box, so I know somebody's working under the hood, but did you have to bring your playmates with you? And another thing; I had never particularly noticed the eyes on the 'turbaned one' in taz's emcee square, but right now he seems to be staring at the couple in the other sidebar. Hmmm.

No... it doesn't have to do with that. I'm puzzled, and also, I still see the buttons. Could you email seanyboy to see if he has a clue? The buttons image is hosted on our server, so there shouldn't be a problem with it. Could this somehow be on your end?

I have to leave five minutes ago, so can't check things out more thoroughly now. Very strange.

You need to do a "view source" on the front page.
Click View --> Page Source in firefox
Click View --> Source in Explorer.
It should say the following at the bottom ...

<span style="margin-right: 0px;"><a class="info"href="http://www.el-boton.com/#buttons" onfocus="if(this.blur)this.blur()"><img src="buttons.jpg" alt="mrs. pants buttons" height="160" width="146"><span>mrs. pants buttons!</span></a></span>

My suspicion is that there's an issue with your computer cache or with any proxy provider you use. It's also a possible spyware infestation.

Also, does this

look like the buttons.

Finally type ...
http://metachat.org/skins/zombie/buttons.jpg
into your browser address bar and tell me what it shows.

Also, if anyone else is getting this behaviour, email or alert me immediately.

Okay, I got the buttons back... just for the record, I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THOSE PEOPLE ARE... am checking for spyware... sorry to bother you all.

Just so you know - After your last message I was hugely tempted to change the buttons image to read "We know where you live Wendell". Just to freak you out.
