This is a pining thread... My sweetie left for Japan today.→[More:]He'll be gone for two weeks there, two weeks back home in Missouri, then nine weeks at Middlebury Language Program in Vermont. The worst part is that Middlebury is a total immersion program, so we won't be able to talk the whole time he's there.

We've only known each other for three months, but I'm so sad and useless today knowing I won't see him until August. We've reached that stage in our relationship where we're really starting to get closer, and it sucks that this developing closeness will be put on hold for three months.

Sigh...
