100000 Fireflies (or how i learned to stop worrying and love sleep deprivation) →[More:]The Magnetic Fields...this song has been stuck in my head for about 8 sleepless hours...now i'm off to work. Enjoy one of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard.

That comes close to being my favorite song. It's perfect, but, and here's the big caveat, the Superchunk version with hard electric guitars and Mac's whine instead of that high female lead, is so far superior as to be a different song entirely. I wish I had it here on my computer at work because the Superchunk version really is the bee's knees.
