F#*$&@! iTunes. Bunnies, please hope me.
→[More:] Last night, after re-installing iTunes, it completely fuXXored the way I had my ipod music/podcast folder organized, and "lost" two of my tracks. (I don't know which ones yet; all I know is that the track count is now two less than it was before.) I can't say it's all that great of a piece of software at the best of times - it's slow and buggy.
So, my question to you is: What is a good alternative to itunes? I used it mainly for two things: 1)syncing a music folder with an ipod, and 2) subscribing to various podcasts. I don't buy music from the itunes store, so I don't have to worry about getting around their POSDRM. I have heard good things about
Anapod, but the blurbs on that site say nothing about being able to do podcast subscriptions automatically.
Any suggestions?
