OMG, tiny tiny kittens! →[More:]I finally caught
the cat I'm hoping to adopt (or at least get fixed and checked out). The poor thing has to stay in the cat room at the once-every-3-weeks vet clinic until Monday, but it's across the street so I can visit him lots, feed him and make a fuss over him.
The island's patron saint of homeless cats met me there. She's currently bottle-feeding a pair of 10-day-old kittens, and needed someone to take care of them on Saturday, so I volunteered. They're so so tiny; they just started to open their eyes yesterday. They have very healthy lungs, though, so no chance I'll miss a feeding. It's also opened the door to me doing more volunteer work for her and the vet clinic, which is great. They're right across the road, and I'm so excited to be able to do something tangible to help such good work. But more to the point, omg! tiny teeny wee kittens! with their tiny kitten bellies and softness and general irresistibleness!
