Only Canadians with skills can win Jelly Belly Jelly Beans from Old Navy. As for the rest of you, well....tough luck. No beans for you.[More:]

I scanned this from the flip side of a scratch-off game card handed to me when I walked into Old Navy today with my daughter.
Ha, that's funny. Could it be a sweepstakes law in Canada? You must do something other than filling out your name in order to win a prize?

That's it LoriFLA. Otherwise it would be a game of chance and fall under gambling laws rather than sweepstakes law.

I was so jealous when I saw the back of the card. I want to show off my mad math skills to win stuff too. Just handing over the scratched off card is so boring.

Oh and I won 2 bags of jelly beans ;P

So, reading skillz are insufficient.

In my entire life as a Canadian I've never seen a contest where you don't have to answer a "skill testing question."

Around 1980 when I was in public school I sent in the wrapper from a Mr. Big chocolate bar and won a Wayne Gretzky "99" jersey that would probably be worth a lot now but I wore maybe twice and didn't give a shit about. I remember I had to answer a skill-testing question.

And speaking of 'reading skillz', I just drunkenly posted this comment to the "rolled-up-jeans" thread. Embarrassing.
