Yeah, I know there's a "NY Resolutions Q1 follow-up" thread down the page, but this wasn't a resolution so much as a "Let's do this shit."

I put a long comment over in your older thread, regarding learning about programming.

With respect to your present question, I am continuing work on my instrument rating, although I may not pass my next FAA physical (getting old is a bitch). I'm encouraged by the sophistication of computer simulators available for PC's, but I never "sweat" when flying the PC, like I do "under the hood" in a Cessna. I hate the hood, and time crawls, every second a freakin' lifetime.

I've been meeting with a career counselor, something I've been meaning to do for ages but the most recent layoff just sort of reinforced my need!
