anybody here like "abandoned pools"? →[More:]

The Remedy got some radio play and I liked it but didn't look into the band further (turns out although there was a touring band this is just one guy behind the music) and I found this track and I like it too. I have watched for the CDs used (at least one was on Universal and I am not buying any RIAA stuff new anymore for obvious reasons) but haven't found it yet, probably end up buying it used online.

"The Remedy" has those qualities that make a song a really powerful earworm. Every now and then I find that it's running through my head -- "the comedy, is that it's serious..." It's the kind of song I want to shake, but can't.

That is a different song, Miko. =P

But yeah, the song you are talking about gets stuck in your head. And songs that do that always piss me off pretty quickly.

They did the theme song and had a guest appearance as the prom band on Clone High, so they're ok in my book.

Aren't/weren't they the band formed by the original Eels bass player (or, at least, the one that played on Beautiful Freak)?
