I've been hardcore boiling some short ribs for about 3 hours now trying to get some broth out of them to make some dduk mandu guk (rice cake dumpling soup) and I was folding dumplings until 2 a.m. and I have a friend coming over in a little while to celebrate the Lunar New Year with me.
Maybe I'll get photos of the process up and virtually share a bowl with the bunnies out in bunnyland.
In Korea we say something like "Say hey bok mari pad uh say-oh." It's also the year of the Golden Pig, which is special because it only happens every 600 years or so. People are encouraging us to get pregnant, and to save money. Either way, it's good luck to have pork for dinner this weekend.
