I can drink you under the table, I can drink you out of town, I can drink you off of the planet, drink myself into the ground. . . someone[More:]a few weeks ago posted something about how he could get into a relationship. Well this song is a rather devastating take on nights that happen now and then to everyone IN a relationship.

Lucy Kaplansky is one of my faves, and to see her do this song live (The Tide, the title track from her first CD) is very harrowing but enriching.
I like Lucy K. a lot (most of all as a member of Cry Cry Cry).

Fun fact: She was a clinical psychologist before she got into the folk-singing biz.

Yeah, Cry Cry Cry is one of my all time favorite CD's. I saw Kaplansky and Shindell together once and they did a number of those songs.
