Help Me Fill My Audio Player Thingy! →[More:]Hey Haidz, I just broke down and got my first-ever Ipod Shuffle. Filled the dang thing up already, and in honor of such fun, if'n I likes me the following muzeek, what else should I round out my Shuffle with?

Jesse Sykes and the Sweet Hereafter
Mercury Rev
Wolfmother
The Innocence Mission
Hallucinogen
Rolling Stones - Exile Era

If you were doing up a Mecha set list with these bands innit, who else would you include?

Isn't the shuffle sexy? I just got one last week and I want to sex it. (I already had a 60gb mp3 player. I just wanted something smaller.)

I don't have any music recommendations for you...(the first thing I downloaded to put on my shuffle was some Dolly Parton.)

If you dig the Exile era Stones, I might suggest a few things. They aren't identical, but, in the same vein:

*The Band - I think their second album is the best, but others prefer Big Pink
*Maybe some Gram Parsons? He is said to have influenced EoMS.
*Willie Nelson's new one Songbird, produced by Ryan Adams is pretty good.
*Big Star - #1 Record is great. So is Radio City.
*I am pretty sure you are already a fan, but WEAKERTHANS
*The Sadies might be up your alley too.
*Neko Case - She's amazing.
*If you haven't already, revisit Beggar's Banquet. It's almost as good as Exile, some would argue it's better.
