Woot! →[More:]I'm off to see Roger Waters in concert tonight. I have never seen Pink Floyd live and, while this is nothing like the same, it is as close as I will ever get (at $400 for two tickets, it fucking well better be close!). I have seen a few reviews that indicate it will be a pretty good show. The best part is that there will probably not be any one uder 30 there, so I won't feel so old.

Have fun. I saw Pink Floyd in '92 and it was phenomenal - but I've always wanted to catch one of Waters' shows, too. Write down a setlist.

I saw them in the late 80s. I think it only cost me about $40. And for that, we got to see a huge, inflatable, anatomically correct pig.

I saw Pink Floyd live in '94 - awesome show.

Incidentally, I also watched The Wall on video with my parents around that time. That alone is a testament to their coolness.

Yeah, I love The Wall*. Not good to watch if you're feeling a bit depressed, though - it's not the most uplifting film of all time.

*I'm talking about the movie of which the album was (more or less) the soundtrack, not the concert, although that was pretty cool as well.
