I lost my clip board. This sucks.→[More:] In clinicals, we have a clip board we carry with us for notes on patients, and inside we carry reference material (formulas, etc). Well I can't fucking find my giant silver clip board and it's making me crazy. I have a test to study for and all I'm going to be thinking is "Where the fuck did I put it?" (It's probably at the hospital.)

That does suck!

I have lost my clipboard and notes several times. Usually I will find them on a nightstand or a chair in a patient's room. Sometimes at the foot of the bed, covered in linens.

I hope they turn up. I wouldn't imagine the hospital would throw something like this away. Good luck.

I really hate when I need to focus and all I can think about is some dumb problem.

Maybe, call the housekeeping and food services supervisors. Be apologetic and ask if they may have seen or found a clipboard. Many misplaced items left on beds or carts come past them.

I use a clipboard when I want to wander around work chatting, but still look busy. In a pinch, try stuffing yesterday's newspaper into a manila folder - bet it works!

Oddly enough, I just gave away a clipboard. If you'd been at McGee's tonight, I could have given you an extra one!
