wakey wakey. eggs and bakey [More:]

So my side is killing me. And I am wondering where does it hurt if you have a kidney infection? This is the lower left side right on the side, maybe a bit in front and a bit in back. I am wanting to blame it on the kidneys or bladder or something because I was going on very little sleep the entire trip and I drank probably twenty mountain dews. And sometimes one can mess up my stomach.

But I think it would be all in the back if it was a kidney infection though. And it seems to hurt worse when I move, which makes me think muscle. And there is no burning or anything like that. I just hope it isn't a hernia or something else nasty, it really fucking hurts. Started noticing it the day I came back from the trip and it was the worst today. Perhaps an alien is about to pop out of my chest or something. Oh well. Also I am watching the Kill Bill flicks. I'd rather be sleeping, but sitting up is more comfortable. Whatcha gonna do?
Naproxen, weretable. And plenty of it. There's no nobility in suffering, if it doesn't save suffering in others.

Naproxen is bad for your innards, if you have bad innards. Or so says my gastroenterologist.

Feel better, dude. And maybe see a doctor if it gets worse.

Kidney infection didn't hurt when I had it (pyelonephritis). I had a cyclical fever and pee suddenly smelled funny. Antibiotic I.V. cleared it up lickety-split. Go see a doctor if it still hurts tomorrow.

Oh, my kidney infection hurt like hell. I was genuinely astonished at the pain, which kept me crabbed and hunched. And yeah, the pain was generalized through my side, back, and front. So it's possible that's what you have, though it could be any number of things, including just yeowy-ouchy aches & pains.

And, echoing PlanetKyoto, I too had a cyclical fever and nasty pee.

Drink a lot of water and see if that helps.

Kidney infection is painful, and you'd feel really sick, lethargic, horrible. Drink lots of water, and then lots more, just in case. Call your doctor, too. Somebody will be on call and will be able to discuss it.
