Born 10:35 pm,weighing 8 pounds 5 ounces, all boy, Sean Allen (lastnamehere) has arrived!

He is officially The Cutest Baby Ever. Both he and his mom are doing fine-mom was a trouper (well, as soon as the epidural hit. Heh.)

Virtual cigars all round!!!!

It is NEVER too soon to whuffle the baby.

Actually the baby has been doing little whuffles all day. So adorably cute it's almost deadly.

There will be more pics as soon as I can get to them. Between my son being here only two more days and my daughter going home tomorrow, I fully expect to crash into myself as I walk out the door tomorrow (a la Dagwood Bumstead and the mailman.)

Congratulations to the new parents and grandmom! Will you be "Gran", "Nana", "Grandma" or ..what? My kids called my late ex-mother-in-law "Mummie" (pronounced moo-mee). It's Finnish for "grandmother", and she was from Finland.

Right now I'm grandma and the other grandma is nana. I'll stay grandma until the tyke comes up with something more creative. One of my own grandmas was called memmas (pronounced mem-maazzz)while I called the other one Nonie (that would be the konolia I named my metaname after.)

Come to think of it, Nonie would be awesome altho it would probably freak my own mom the heck out.

(And slowly but surely she's coming around...soon I'll stick the grandbun photos under her nose and that should do it. Heh.)
