i am listening to the "modern rock" station... →[More:]

and liking a lot of what i hear. it has been at least a year since i listened to the radio much. is there some good new rock out there or have i been in the house for too long?

also. the tv says it is 39 and it is storming like a mother. maybe thundersnow later? that would be neat.

it was 76 when i went to the gym this morning at 5am. it only got up to about 80. right now it is 76 again. all hell is about to break loose since there are tornado watches up and ICE STORM 2006!!! supposed to happen tomorrow. I love Texas weather. If you believe the bulletin motha nature is about to bring it on...

I hope the ICE STORM 2006!!! happens so I can stay home from work.

What kind of modern rock? I listen to WOXY a lot and there's a load of good stuff I've found recently.

One of my brothers recently went on a iTunes spending spree and bought a load of 80's hair rock stuff - his favourite tracks from stuff he listened to when growing up. It was interesting to hear Cinderella, White Lion, Winger, Skid Row, Love/Hate, Enuff Z'Nuff and more again after so long. Some of it stood up, which was somewhat surprising.
