It's Two! Two Posts in One! 1. At Christmastime, I like to pretend it's the 1940s....[More:] Actually, I always kind of like to pretend that, but it's especially good in December. To help with that, there's Rat Patrol Radio, which broadcasts WWII Christmas music all month. Burl and Bing on the desktop stream!

2. Peace reigneth: An update on the Colorado HOA Peace-sign-Christmas-wreath hysterical blogsation. This was nice to read; for once, sanity has prevailed. I also learned that the Denver byline is only because the story was filed from the Denver AP and NYT bureaus,
Yay, peace!

And Rat Patrol Radio sounds awesome... I can't wait to try it out.

Red lipstick and finally tailored suits! Hats for everyone! I love the 40s, too. Especially at Christmas.

Thanks for this Miko. I just sent the radio link to an old guy I know in California, and he's delighted. Man, I love the web.

On Tuesday morning, 20 people marched through the center carrying peace signs and then stomped a giant peace sign in the snow perhaps 300 feet across on a soccer field, where it could be easily seen.

Just like those peaceniks to stomp all over.
