not that I've ever dropped MDMA in my life, mind you - but i've been at my fair share of all-night techno parties.

thus I present to you a glimmery shimmery crunky chunky danceable mix, containing a big beats trance-loaded centre that slithers gradually off into a dreamy, gleamy ambient closure. loop it and it comes right back round to the start like a trippy moebus strip. the whole package comes in for a landing at right about 58 minutes.

wow! thanks. I have a horrible (bad?) red-wine induced headache, it is overcast outside, I am totally lazy and this music is absolutely great! There are some nice reads here and over on Mefi today that somehow go nicely with this music. I love Sunday mornings.

wow carmina, I'm so glad to hear this helped improve your Sunday! and gee, I never thought of techno as a cure for headaches, but if it works, right on!

I have another idea for (what I consider) a 'sunday morning mix' that's been roaming round my brain but it's weighted more towards the sufjan stevens / iron & wine / yo yo ma end of the spectrum.

jason's_planet: it's too bad both you and shane seem to be languishing in dialup purgatory. If you do nothing else, you have GOT to get your mitts on that LCD soundsystem track. I mean how can you NOT like a band who comes up with stuff like this:
