Help me prove to taz that I'm not crazy! →[More:]

Up until about 2 hours ago, there was often (not always) a really creepy, large, fast centipede on the main page of MetaFilter, in an ad on the right side above the sidebar. You could only see it when you were logged out. I don't even know what the ad was for, but the centipede was large and juicy and quick and leggy and disgusting. It's not there anymore. But the question is...was it ever there or did I just imagine it?

Did anyone else ever notice it? Does anyone else ever log out? I can't find this stupid ad, and I'm trying to prove to taz that I'm not crazy. At least not *that* crazy.

It WAS there! I couldn't read any page that thing was crawling around on. I can't remember either what the ad was for, I just remember that it was GROSS and I saw it just the other day.

I am not a Mefite, so I am never either logged in or out at MeFi, however, I would never dream of logging out of MeCha!!!

I logged out. Saw nothing. Then I remembered I have adblock, noscript and flashblock installed. I did not turn them off, as I couldn't be arsed.

I'm usually logged out at work & still reading & I didn't see it this morning. Which means nothing. Really I just wanted to say that crazy like bologna underpants is my new favorite phrase of the world.
