Is there anything more fun than watching episodes of Scrubs when you should be writing essays about the effect of land reform on German economic development?[More:]Answers on a postcard.
hey matthewr, what was the effect of land reform on german economic development? I'm curious!

Actually, I think I'd find German land reform more interesting. Can you recommend any good books on the subject so I can delve into that once I finish my book on the Greek war for independence from the Ottoman Turks in the 1820s?

Funmonkey, I'll tell you in the morning.

Doohickie, my reading list for this essay consists largely of chapters from various economic development textbooks, and some papers from the Journal of Economic History. I haven't read any full books devoted to this topic alone. If you're still interested, my email's in my mefi profile.

Turk wasn't around in the 1820s, Doohickie. Dr Bob Kelso might have been. Dr Acula was almost certainly involved though. Balkans and all that.

Everything is either about sex or the rise of the middle class. ;)
