The whole hour is about the Democrats, and how they plan to stop snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. It gives a history of how the GOP first started painting the Dems as "soft on communism terror,"and follows a couple of the "new Democrats" who have managed to win in red states. The stupid title (not our idea) makes it sound like it's negative about the Democrats, but it's not- the whole hour has Democrats themselves talking about the party's history and future.

ALSO, our own mygothlaundry has a soundbite in the show! And since a lot of the show centers around the House race in the 11th district (North Carolina), you can spot some other Asheville bunnies if you look closely- moonbird, recovering iowan, and syntax can be spotted in a couple of shots.

I think the show repeats at 11 PM eastern, and no doubt will run some more between then and election day. I'm not sure it'll be aired outside the U.S. There were only five of us putting this thing together: me (I edited), the reporter, and three producers, and it took us three insane, 75-hour weeks here in Washington to do it.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go lie on the hotel room floor in a fetal position and wait for morning. Good night!

Yes mike, 8 pm is usually "Paula Zahn Now," so ignore that if your listings still say that.

Also, dobbs, the show will air in Canada since all of North America gets the domestic version of CNN.

Yay and thank you BP for my 5 minutes of fame! ;-) My whole family is getting together with recoveringiowan to eat dinner at my mom's and watch it. It is just vaguely possible that my brother will even figure out how to work my mom's ancient, gigantic VCR so that we can put it on one of them newfangled videotapes. We are all totally excited and looking forward to it!
