You've run into one of the limits of a free account. Your free account will only display the most recent 200 photos you've uploaded. All of your photos beyond 200 will remain hidden from view until you either delete newer photos, or upgrade to a Pro account.

None of your photos have been deleted, and if you upgrade, they'll all come back unharmed.

What a load of BS! That's extortion. "Give us the money, and none of your photos get hurt." Fuck Flickr. I don't remember any limit beyond 3 photosets and 20 MB of uploads a month when I signed up. Is this new?

I guess I will be moving all non-shared photos back to my own hosting. I knew this site was a mistake.

The part that irks me is that I don't remember anything about a 200 image limit when I created my account. I have plenty of other places I could upload photos.

You're welcome. Although there are other hosting places, I think flickr rocks for the 'community' aspect of its service.

The 200 limit is a bit of a bugger (in theory, anyway; I popped for a pro a while back), but it was pretty clearly stated in the signup stuff. Sympathies on your mental stress.

Flikr ganked me on the pro account I paid for, claiming it never went through paypal (even though it clearly did go through paypal) they stopped answering my requests to just give me the fucking pro account already and I had to issue a claim through paypal, who handled it quickly. Any situation where paypal is the efficent and friendly party is fucked up. So fuck fucking flikr. (I'll probably calm down and get a pro-account at some point, but I don't even have a camera at the moment.)

I donated the refund to mecha instead.
