Hey, dobbs. →[More:]I thought you might be interested to know that I spent a good amount of time over the past few weeks recording stuff for the new Jana Hunter record. She's actually my best pal in the world for the past 15 years or so.

Why am I posting this? Because I'm listening to the pre-mixed stuff again for the first time in about a week, and thought you'd appreciate the following heads-up:

Thanks for the info. I'm looking forward to the record. I've never met Jana but we've emailed a bit and she seems great. She donated this track to my 2006 blogathon, as well as this Jracula track. They're among the most popular downloads from the project. Also, it seems every week I get someone coming to my site because they were searching for Jracula--it's always in my stats.

I absolutely love the cover of her last record. Who's doing the art this time, do you know?

Yeah, I saw that you were offering some of her stuff for blogathon; that's why I figured you'd be interested to hear the latest. And yup, she's pretty great.

I'm amused that people are out there looking for Jracula stuff. I think it's supposed to be something of a "joke" band, but maybe intentions have changed or something.

Philip Durbin is doing the artwork again. I haven't seen it yet, but she's supposed to be emailing me .eps's of it before she sends it to the plant. I can't imagine it's not going to be badass.

I'll keep you posted as stuff develops. I'm way more excited about this record than I thought I was going to be!
