I decided to give this game a try. I have been rounded defeated by the AI in two games so far. I haven't quite got the hang of it yet. It is consuming, but I am not sure I would call it fun. The music is eery.
So I was watching one of the news channels and they started talking about how the crazies from Topeka were going to protest at the funerals for the Amish schoolgirls. Apparently God Hates Amish as well. I still say we need to find a way to turn the GHF people against the $cientologists.
Foley's attorney now says he was molested by a clergyman. I thought they were blaming alcohol. I can't keep up. Anyway, I am eating my lunch a bit late and trying to nuke millions of people while watching the news channels. Taco Bell tacos. Very exciting. With Mountain Dew.
So what do you think about those new Taco Bell commercials about "Fourth Meal" that they have been showing on TV lately? I think it's a good idea. Americans really do not eat enough fast food as it is.
I'm playing the demo version, and I'm not really sure if I'm going to spring for the full. It's a very odd game, which reminds me of the early arcade games (say, Defender) in which there was no "end". All you did was keep fighting until you died. Just like Defcon.
Also, it's a very depressing game, I find, and not something that I could play all the time having grown up in the 80's and under the shadow of the Cold War. (well, _that_ cold war, anyways.) The graphics are very well done, and yes, the soundtrack's one of the most appropriate I've heard in ages.
