Well, it's definitely worth it, professionally... He's doing sound for a TV series being shot in Athens and another place in Greece. They're shooting a full season, and the network is planning on putting this one up against the top-rated show (in Greece, obviously). The guy who is directing is someone my husband worked with in the past on what turned out to be a very popular film (for rock-bottom rates because he believed in him, and it was his first film) and both the director and my husband have won a lot of awards and critical acclaim for their work since then.

My husband is the top go-to guy for sound where we are (everyone who does anything wants him), but even so it doesn't guarantee against the wolf at the door, because where we are is the second place for action after Athens, and all of Greece is only about the size of Missiissippi or Alabama or something... So, it totally wasn't an offer we could turn down. We're thinking of moving to Athens now, mostly because of this stuff... But we're not sure. Something I've thought of asking for opinions about here...

ha!... whoever said you can't self-link here? We do it all the time!* But if I was really trying to pull something on... myself, I would have set up the post differently, so that the main link didn't just go to an mp3 - and lots of other stuff that would have made this dangerous move much more worthwhile.

Anyway, I wouldn't have wasted a selfserving post in this way; there are so many other things I could post that would actually somehow do something for me in some way - but I never do.
