bah, macromedia / firefox Anyone got a quick answer why an inserted Image viewer acts weird in Firefox?[More:] Made a few pages that have MacroM flash Image viewer slide shows. When they first load in FF they look good, but refreshing page or coming back to the page later the images are shrunk and tool bar abbrivated. Things seem to work ok in IE.
(made with Dreamweaver 2004 MX)

Could be Dreamweaver. It's own for doing all kinds of wonky things like that. No surprise it works in IE and not firefox.

Does the "object type='blahblahblah" have a width and height specified?

I think I figured it out. For some reason FF works a lot better wen the .swf file is in the same folder as the images it is using... so, uffda

Glad to hear it. So... will you be sharing?

It's kind of a silly site, but these guys are paying me to put together http://www.gonzoscience.com/. Right now I'm just throwing content up as fast as I can without it being too horrible, then afterwards I'll go back and tweak with flash and other fancy stuff as I learn the cool tricks. The Slide Show question was in response to the Comics section.
(btw opinions expressed within the site do not necessarily reflect my own opinions... but they are fun to read)

Heh. I'm reading the Hunter Thompson now. One thing: the view time on the slideshow is a little short for the longer (text-y) panels on that one.
