I've never seen on in the wild, and I've always wanted to. I've only ever seen the tracks.

How cool! Please don't let your State DNRs (Departments of [exploitation of] Natural Resources) kill off all your local wildlife. However elusive and harmless these animals usually are, your DNRs will incite hysteria, then justify their jobs and profiteer from the animals' deaths.

It's a serious problem, and there are tons of non-lethal alternatives, including (someday, when the EPA approves the harmless formula) contraception to keep populations down to where they don't scare people.
