so, for the mac decision, my g4 is trashed due to a dire blow when a shoulder bag failed. i use my pc for mathematica and c programming -- so, some number crunching, but it's not like there aren't cheap cycles avail. in my department. i like to use it for my writing, for playing jamz, and i guess that's it. when do i buy?
