One of the things I liked best about Denver were the massive thunder and lightening storms. The humidity, I hated that too. It gave me Roseanne Roseannadanna hair.

We really need some rain here in Seattle. (I know, that sounds funny, doesn't it?)

getoffmylawn the challenge is that we've not had the usual bright, hot, dry sunny Front Range typical weather that precedes the thunderstorms. I can take the heat, it's the humidity that destroys me. Lately, it's been sticky, muggy and cloudy... My roomie (a D.C. native like myself) has been bitching about his sinuses and with the pressure headache I've had today, it looks like I'm about to join the whine-fest.

Ugh.

Dang lonefrontranger, I'm down here in Golden and I wish it would rain. All we're getting lately is virga and humidity. Blow those clouds south!!!

cominatcha eek, according to the radar. and gladly too. I've been rained on four out of five days on my commute lately. Last Thursday I got rained on *three separate times!!* oh and I got rained on yesterday, too but that was just a pleasure ride. once in awhile isn't bad but this is definitely getting old. three hundred sunny days a year my Aunt Mabel.

A cold front came through a few days ago, so it's only 94 instead of 118. Also, I don't think I can remember the last time it rained.
