Need tickets, Yankee Stadium, anybody need tickets? →[More:]I was planning a trip to New York to see the Yankees play Tampa Bay at the end of the month, but the screws in my ankle have screwed up those plans. I got two bleachers tickets for the game on Sunday July 30th -- anybody want 'em? They're free, but if you're not gonna root for the home team don't tell me.

Ya know, I started to post here earlier, then said "Nah, don't be greedy, leave it for the NYC bunnies." But sincerely -- if no NYC bunnies want these tix, my brother in NJ would probably be happy to have them. I'd say preference definitely to a bunny, but if no one else wants them, I'm on the bench.

Woulda gone to the Stadium rather than Shea (as good as the Mets are, and as knowledgable, passionate, vociforous, and good looking as their fans are -looking around nervously-, what a hellhole of a stadium!) but we only could get bleacher seats for a day game, and wife did not want to sit in the sun.

I also realized that not very many people ride the train from Manhattan to Shea for games. . .the loyalty split there is striking.
