BLAST OFF!!
Okay, don't ever tell anyone I was this happy. Bad things will happen.
Because *dum dum DUM* I got my baby boot back! Weee!
Found it in a shop where the young lass tending it was Swedish - she told the young boy to leave the boot there and put it on the shop counter so that the owner (moi) would see it. Now I get to call Danes stupid more often than I did before!
yes, this is how unexiting my life is. And I don't care! I like it!
Plus, it's rockin' good weather and me and perle sahreda s moothie in the sun. Yeay.
Wow, that was supposed to read "shared". Ok, the only thing not going right today is my spelling. But then, it never does. ,) I'd join you for smoothies but I've already had mine and you're kinda far away man..
Well when are you going, dame? I'm leaving work early, but then I come from the Bronx. mmmmm smoothie. (I feel old. we should be making plans to do shots of bourbon or something.)
I leave Hoboken around 5, but I have some flexibility as I can go to Trader Joe's first, so I won't be waitin' around. (Well, I'll be in THE LONGEST LINE KNOWN TO HUMANITY, but damn the food is good.)
If you leave Hoboken at 5, then what time would you be smoothie-ifying? For I shall be leaving work pretty soon, just have to get some stuff wrapped up. The smoothie will be to fortify me for the last couple of hours of apartment packing.
Ico, none of this--the excitement, the exclamation points--shall ever be admitted or remarked upon outside this ready. Being this happy already makes me hate myself. I'm excited about soothies ffs! Hope me!
Fun? Please. I've put it all off until tonight. At least I don't really own anything (I did get rid of lots of stuff, either by trashing it or giving it to charity. Gotta love charities that pick up!)
It's really "Calling Lightning with a Scythe" but the dudes messed it up on their own itunes track listing and I paid for the damn album and I'm gonna get my $.99 worth of oblique internet anony-mocking, dammit.
Thanks, dame. Things are better now that the demo is over, it went well, the code finally compiles, and the architect apologized for the pissy mood he was in this morning, and we had free ice cream.
Feh, you kids with your four-day weekends. I'm working all weekend and Monday just to take Tuesday off -- all for the greater glory of publishing, sweet publishing! (I just got a promotion and a raise last week, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much...)
yes, I have succumbed to the siren song of power, matteo! Now that I am third in command (of a department of five), my vast media empire is really coming together nicely. Bow before me, I say!
