San Francisco Meet-Up Reminder. This Saturday, June 17, 3pm. Dolores Park, probably closest to the 20th and Church corner. Bring your puppies!→[More:]

People should bring whatever food and drink they like (and their dogs!); I've never had a problem brown-bagging alcohol at Dolores Park as long as it's been reasonably discreet (and it's very common to see pretty much everyone doing so).

And bring your dogs!

Anyone who's worried about getting lost or not recognizing us can email me for my cell phone number.

I'm likely to be there, but slightly up in the air. If I finish my article early enough tomorrow, I get to go to Monterey for the weekend. But chances are, I won't finish, so I'll get to go to the meetup. Either way, I guess....

Either, I think. I see no harm in bringing your own food, but anyone who wants to bring stuff to share is welcome to (and I probably will do so as well).

I'll also play den mother and try to bring plates, napkins, utensils, and cups, in case they are needed. And assuming I can steal a corkscrew from ikkyu2, I'll to bring one of those as well. (Which means that if anyone else remembers to throw one in their bag, that might be a good thing.)

Also, as a public service announcement, if you're looking to grab some food or wine right beforehand, Bi-Rite, on 18th between Dolores and Guerrero, is great for ready-made food, snacks, and wine.

(I also should mention that Bi-Rite is priced like the hipster yuppie organic market that it is, and is always crowded, so allow some time. It's got GREAT food, though, and the wine prices are actually pretty good.)
