Brazil v. Croatia (and a betting question) →[More:]
First of all, Go Brazil!!! This should be a routing, but I can't wait to see Ronaldinho & Company in action.

Secondly, I'm looking at available bets and I'm totally confused. The money lines are simple enough (Brazil 1.345, Croatia 10.5, Draw 4.91), but the spread listed is:
Brazil: -1 and -1.5 1.820
Croation: +1 and +1.5 2.160

Can anybody help me decipher that? I'm really confused by the presence of two different spreads on a single bet.

Oh, and if you need a reason to root for Brazil, they definitely have the cutest fans. It's not even close.

Possibly the first figures (-1 and +1) were the opening spread at the time the books were opened, and the second (-/+ 1.5) is the current spread? Maybe?

rainbaby: nope, those are all the current prices. I've never seen this before the World Cup, but there are a bunch of them here.

I got an answer about the weird spread!

If you put $50 on Brazil at -1 and -1.5 1.820, you'd actually be making two bets:
$25 on Brazil at -1 paying 1.820
$25 on Brazil at -1.5 paying 1.820

And in other breaking news... holy hell is Brazil playing a beautiful game.
