Sunday Night Me, Pips & Hugh went to see my beloved BellRays→[More:] (audio here). Why this band isn't huge will always be a mystery to me. Imagine Tina Turner fronting The Who and you're somewhere close to the sound. They brought the house down. And vocalist Lisa Kekaula is the kind of rock and roll goddess we should all be making burnt offerings to daily. Pics of the show and other nefarious weekend doings here.

Shit! I *thought* I recognised the name. me and mr. g randomly wandered into one of their shows last year sometime I think. They were good, but not who we were there to see (now I forget who that was).
