There's something about watching pretty people be tormented - "We're going to cover you in vomit, but look fierce!"

I like Joanie and Danielle. Danielle has the best quote of the whole show, when she said "forget the gap, sucker! We're going to Thailand!" I annoy my roomies by saying this at least once a day.

She cracked me up when she said riding an elephant was like touching a dinosaur, "because, you know, elephants are in the dinosaur family."

Ur...I applied to be on it. Twice. On the grounds that I wouldn't have to work for at least a month (surely I could hold out that long?)

I haven't watched the latest seasons though cause I got rid of my TV.

I would apply, but I'm not tall enough. I'm 5'6" and a half. And you have to be 5'7".

I was into it last season a bit, but Project Runway completely took it over for me. Then I tried watching it again, but found it not as interesting for some reason. Then I started my whole tyrabanksmustbestopped.com campaign.

Tyra... is a strange being. I like her, but at the same time, she's really obnoxious. I was watching her talk show yesterday- Tyra Pranks! None of which were funny (the last prank was a guy "tricking" his girlfriend into thinking she was meeting Bo Bice, then pretending to break up with her, so that he could really PROPOSE! She said it was the "perfect" proposal, I would've slapped the guy and demanded to meet Bo Bice).

I am totally addicted. The elephant dinosaur thing had me cracking up when I woke up *this* *morning*. I'm suprised I don't dream about these people, I'm so overly invested.

I'm predicting Joanie for the win, but Sara's starting to get enough of a storyline that I'm having doubts...

I loved the first season (although not NEARLY as much as the first season of Project Runway - go Jay!!) and watched the 2nd off and on but I haven't watched much of it since, if only because I know I would just get sucked back in.

Tyra... is a strange being. I like her, but at the same time, she's really obnoxious.

Tyra gets on my damned nerves. I think it's because she tries to pass herself off as some sort of seen-it-all wise woman and I just don't think she has the depth to pull it off.

Exactly. It makes me go *squee!*

Best moment, of any ANTM, was Nicole's face during this little Tyra mindfuck.

After the judges deliberated, Tyra announced that while several front-runners had emerged among the girls, some of the other girls had failed to show much progress. Bre, Kim, Lisa, and Nik were all called forward and declared safe, leaving only Jayla and Nicole behind. Tyra called both girls forward and told them "both of you must pack your bags" -- a comment that the stunned girls initially took to mean that they'd both been eliminated. But after moment of silence, Tyra finished her sentence -- "because we're all going to London... and nobody is going home!"

The second best will be when Jade gets sent packing.

Ahem...yes, I watch it.
I'm rooting for Joanie or Danielle. I liked Sarah until last night. I hate Jade, and apparently so do the editors.

I've only watched a couple episodes of Project Runway, but I liked it. I like Top Chef better, though. I was so glad they got rid of that supercilious prig Stephen.

Haven't seen Top Chef, but it looks really stupid. Sorry Bean, the whole idea just seems wrong. It's clear the Project Runway folks just got Top Chef because PR was such a big hit. Now, call it "Kitchen Accidental" with a slew of morons (or celebutards!) trying to cook and you've got food-based reality show I can watch. Of course, someone would be sent to the hospital every week.

Steven the Sommelier was a cutie, even if his total flaming asshole schtick was nowhere near on Santino's level. Watching him go was bittersweet.

I love it and am not ashamed. (I think I'm becoming to tv what jonmc is to music.) I also love the recaps at fourfour. They crack me up.

And Alex, I seriously question your taste in men. Steven had a face like a puffin.

I liked Sara until the snobbiness started to show. And how she said "my boyfriend works for a very conservative senator" as a reason to be careful how she acts on the show.

Did anyone notice that Joanie's new teeth make her talk funny?
