OMG! Bunny! [More:] Ok, fine. So it's a rabbit but that is a damned cute logo.
That rabbit is flyin' man. Gears screamin'.

Volkswagen's Director of Brand Innovation, Kerri Martin

Is it "innovation" if you're using old material?

Personally, I think it's a bad move; I prefer to see identical cars have common nameplates all over the world. But that's just me. (Case in point, why is the Daewoo Lacetti a Chevy Lacetti in Europe, but a Chevy Optra in Canada, and a Buick Excelle in China, and Suzuki Forenza in the U.S., and *also* a Suzuki Reno in the U.S.?)

It's just a Golf (the ugliest one) renamed? Boo!!! I think the New Beetle is hella cute, but mr. taz says it ain't all that. At least it's more bunnylike than the Golf.
