But I'm already so awesome! Personal/professional development goal ideas needed:→[More:]It's goal-setting time here at work. I've got most of my goals done, but I'm stuck on the pesky personal one. Examples they usually give are things like "becoming more assertive" or "time management" or fun stuff like that. While I definitely could be more assertive and manage my time better, I want to, dare I say, have a little fun with this one. I'm an editor for a greeting card company, so the creative stuff is already pretty well covered in my other goals. Ideas?

I don't care that you don't want creative suggestions - I spent a whole afternoon last Christmas looking for a goddamn Festivus greeting card. Nothing. This needs to be remedied (and not with online bullshit - I want to buy a Festivus card at the local Hallmark or Walgreens).

I doubt you'll ever find it from a big house company like mine or Hallmark. Copyright issues. Apparently we try to avoid being sued or something, and legal squashes all kinds of fun we'd like to have.

something about learning new areas of the business or getting to know people in all stages of the process? have you ever been to a printing plant? went riding for a day with a local distributor? etc..
