I wish someone had taken a picture of me kicking jon in the nuts, though. Or that he hadn't reflexively blocked my kick. That wasn't nearly as satisfying as I thought it would be.

Oh, and the best part of the night was actually while I was waiting for the 10:19 train home. I'd bought a bag of $1.25 popcorn to munch on while I waited and apparently there had been a Rangers game tonight. So the concourses were filled with fans in their jerseys waiting for their trains, too. I was watching the board for my track number and two guys passed by, one of them lingering by the board. I had way too much popcorn, so I just kinda held the bag out to him. He was obviously more drunk than I (I only had three vodka tonics) and was also obviously trying to pick me up. Seeing as I've had enough of boys for a while (and NYC guys are really forward!) I was nice to him and let him have more popcorn, but I wasn't about to do more drinking with him.

So his friend who is more sober than he is comes back to get him on the train to Ronkonkoma, and I offer him one more handful for the road. He then pulls out his wallet and hands me a five dollar bill, in payment for letting him have some of my popcorn. I graciously refuse once, then take the money. I also graciously refuse his offer of whatever he was offering, and shoo him on his way.

So tonight I got to geek out on comics with safetyfork and agropyron, set out the lure with TPS on Vegas, square some things with Pips, kick jonmc in the nuts, and I got $5.

Oh shit! I got the dates mixed up! But I've been averaging about 3 hours of sleep per night lately.......

I wasn't online this morning and I left at noon, so I didn't see TPS and Lola's reminders. Next time....

I drank a little too much of the free booze from "big daddy" but it was great to meet mr and mrs agropyron, as well as the nyc crew I've missed before. Photos of me with my mouth open are bad and somehow accurate. And, Lola_G that's some wicked fast turnaround, I think you might have DaShiv beat there.
