I hope it is interesting to you guys. They are from the remote depths of China! Who do you think would win? Bionic frogs or snakes on a plane?

DNA mutation and evolutionary selection is a marvelous thing, n'est pas?

Extra-terrestrial organisms -

-given that de-novo generation of "life" is reasonably common
-given similar conditions to Earth

Would they develop similar adaptations that are prevalent here (ie., eyes, hair/feathers, bones) or would they have organs with similar function but operate on entirely different principles?

Or both?
