they really should improve star fruit.
or make mutant fruit for the sake of, oh, nutrition or flavor or something similarly idiotic--

easier coconuts and more self defending fruit, i say. earn that pulp. it would be a whole new skill with accoutrements, like lobster tools and styling bar sets.
