TPS Report - My Speech It was a great evening. Big packed hall (at least two hundred people!)→[More:]
Guy from Stop The War Coalition spoke, then me, then a really eloquent lady trying to save an arrested Guantanamo detainee, then Begg, then this fiery (and CUTE) lawyer.

My speech was fine, I got bogged down in the history section but then heated up at the end, and kicked ass in the question time and got lots of interesting conversation afterwards from various Muslims attending, some of whom would like to help with some of our local stuff!

Begg is tiny, and speaks clearly and laconically. I need to less wordy next time, and print stuff in ALL CAPS and double space it, which is what Anwar did.

Oh, and all out on Saturday, yo. Big loud demonstrations to stop the fucking war do improve moods. There will be puppets! and anarchist drum corps! and protest people of all shapes, sizes and colours!
