Featuring bunnies (yay, wimpdork!), monkeys, cocktails, food - lots of food, tin foil hats, impromptu tours of the mission, doughnuts, near rabid Chihuahuas, accommodating strangers and so much laughter my face and sides are still sore.

Bunnies are the best. I love you guys, I really, really do.

And mrs.pants, thank you SOOO much for that phone call on Saturday, it totally rocked my night. I hope we didn't take up too much space with that epic voicemail. We were *cough* "well lubricated" by that point.

On preview, yes, wimpdork is a chick. And a fucking funny chick who has excellent taste in lemon wafer cookies and is highly skilled in making tin foil hats.

Last night was excellent. Truly excellent. The company and the food (and OH GOD the food!) and the tin hats and the fabulousness. Thanks to all, but most special thanks to Frisbee for being the Best Hostess Ever.

The only pictures I have that turned out are a few pictures of the dog, and one of Dashiv. That's it. Yay for my ancient brick of a camera!

Here are a few choice quotes from last night, taken out of context:

It should also be noted that occhiblu can smile knowingly in both English and Italian. It is rumored that she also possesses the ability to do so in French. Matildaben makes great Jasmines, perhaps the most macho in existence. They are so macho that DaShiv does not look any less manly for being seen drinking a pink drink in a martini glass with a twisty stem. Triode *is* the oolest and fork-washer extraordinaire. Wimpdork has the most refined donut etiquette. Ikkyu2 somehow manages to bring the food of the gods to us in the form of pate. Not content with mere food of the gods, Mudpuppie makes pies which bring the gods to their knees. Frisbee can not only whip up gourmet dinners, but she can also do so while entertaining a bunch of inebriated internet hooligans, not to mention shepherd them around the streets of the Mission in the middle of the night.

My highest compliments on the food. The divine pate, the mouthwatering chateaubriand, the delectable chicken, and the scrumptious pie. I am hungry again as I type this.

Ikkyu2, Occhiblu, DaShiv, Triode - it was great seeing you again.
Matildaben, Mudpuppie, Wimpdork - it was wonderful to meet you.
Fris - thank you for hosting yet again. You're the hostess with the mostest. Oh, and your apron's showing.

I stored the jasmine recipe in my encyclopedic little brane. It is:

1 1/2 oz. gin
3/4 oz. Campari
3/4 oz. Cointreau
1/4 oz lemon juice

It was in a charming little book that had the word 'Cocktail' in red neon on the cover and fell open to the jasmine recipe.

Aw, Friz, one of these times I'm-a gonna get down there, too. You have no idea how heartsick seeing the inside of your apartment made me - reminds of me all my madcap adventures in the City when I lived there. Very beautiful, all of you.
