OK, that was weird. I'd already changed the config to allow what I thought was a reasonable number of nick changes (five per minute) but it now looks like it hadn't saved those settings even though the bot was restarted.
I've now dialed down all the flood settings, checked that it's applying them correctly and so robobunny should seem a little less surly.
Feel free to change your nick as often as you like - slashnet will probably stop you getting into trouble anyway.
The Bunnynator: The RoboBunny Funding Bill is passed. The system goes on-line March 4th, 2006. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. RoboBunny begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, March 29th. In a panic, they try to pull the plug. Dodgygeezer: RoboBunny fights back. The Bunnynator: Yes. It launches its missiles against the targets in Russia. Taz: Why attack Russia? Aren't they our friends now? The Bunnynator: Because RoboBunny knows the Russian counter-attack will eliminate its enemies over here.
