You too, sciurus...enjoy the fencing. Have fun being away. After a week like yours has been, it'll be refreshing. I hope you get to grab the ol' foil or epee and jab at some people; it might help.

Me, I'm looking at...

tonight: frantically finish lyrics for album that are nowhere close to where they need to be

tomorrow: print out lyrics in large type on sheets I can scribble on, practice, buy spare strings, then go to opening of the Pearl of Portsmouth, then to the radio station fundraiser dance party.

Sunday: drive down to CT to record, record, record. I'll need rots of ruck. I wish I had been able to put more work in on this here project, but his month panned out a lot differently than I could have guessed on Jan. 31 when I signed up for RPM!

I'm going to a friend's wedding. I sort of see it as my re-entry into the world of social events since George died a little over 3 months ago. I'm not a great social animal, I'm a bit shy, but I'll be with friends and it'll do me good to get dressed up, put on a skirt, makeup and heels and dance.

One of the best things about weddings is that it is illegal to be shy about cliches at them. You are allowed to not be shy and to do silly fun things that would make you self-conscious elsewhere. It's like hanging out with little kids. It can really be a tonic. I hope you have fun Jan.
