Crap. Can someone tell me what happened in the last three minutes of last week's Lost? There will obviously be spoilers inside→[More:] Tivo didn't record the last three minutes. My recording ends right after the soldiers dropped Sayid off in the desert.

nope, just sayid being all iraqi crazy. And I guess I should have said the one with the balloon guy since Rousseau is in the next one too. I wasn't sure if it had come on yet. And apparently tonights will be a repeat.

Dammit, the last two weeks' 24 episodes were each cut short 5 minutes too. WTF? I really hope my tivo isn't fucked.

Your TiVo isn't fucked. Many hit programs are now playing the game of extending their shows by an additonal 3 - 5 minutes. I noticed that last week's episode had an end time of 9:03 p.m. I, too, had it clipped by my TiVo changing to another program at 9:00 p.m.

I would agree with you if Lost wasn't #1 in my priority list. It should take priority over any other shows. And 24 is only an hour long.

I wonder if it's a bug in the clipping code. Nothing was recorded immediately following Lost last Wednesday. And I can't think of a reason it would stop at 0:55 into 24 two weeks in a row. At any rate, I set up my bedroom tivo to record BSG this Friday as well - I'm not taking any chances!

Thanks drpynchon, but it's not worth the trouble. I appreciate the thought, though! I've turned off clipping on the tivo and it shouldn't be a problem going forward.
