I know it's really grim, and not funny at all, but I still kind of chuckled about "The boy had contact with an ill duck". *slaps self, hard* And I love that the gigolo was promising "government jobs". Heh.

Ill Duck?

Is anyone else picturing an overweight mallard in a jogging suit, kangol hat, and rope chain with a 9mm tucked in his waistband? (which would be interesting seeing how ducks don't have waists, really.

I just have to take my hat off to the honest hiker. I can't imagine it's easy to hold something so rare and precious in your hands, then let it go.

(Taz, I meant to write you before now to implore you to please stand clear of any wheezy birds and Greek men bearing gifts, even the incredibly seductive promise of working at the DMV. Thank goodness you've been staying on top of things!)
